Ó£»¨ÊÓƵ

Ó£»¨ÊÓƵ Department of Mathematics

At Ó£»¨ÊÓƵ, mathematics is more than numbers—it’s a way of thinking, problem-solving, and tackling the unknown. From the moment you step into your first mathematics class, you’ll dive deep into theories, equations, and real-world applications that challenge your mind and sharpen your analytical skills.

Here, you won’t just learn mathematics—you’ll use it. You’ll explore calculus, algebra, and statistics, applying them to solve problems in engineering, cybersecurity, economics, and beyond. In small, focused classes, you’ll work closely with expert faculty who will push you to think critically, analyze data, and find creative solutions to complex problems.

Your Path, Your Future

If mathematics is your passion, you can major in , mastering core mathematical principles while developing the problem-solving skills sought after in industries like engineering, actuarial science, and computer programming. Prefer to combine math with technology? Choose our Mathematics and Computer Science (B.S.), where you’ll develop expertise in algorithms, computational theory, and data science—opening doors to careers in software development, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.

You can also minor in mathematics to strengthen your analytical abilities and enhance your degree in engineering, business, or the sciences.

Built for Your Ambition

At Ó£»¨ÊÓƵ, your education goes beyond the classroom. You’ll work on projects that connect mathematics to real-world challenges, collaborate with peers on research, and prepare for what’s next—whether that’s graduate school, a career in a high-demand STEM field, or earning your teaching licensure to shape the next generation of problem-solvers.

If you love numbers, logic, and critical thinking, Ó£»¨ÊÓƵ is where you’ll push your limits, challenge yourself, and stand out. The world runs on mathematics—at Ó£»¨ÊÓƵ, you’ll learn how to use it to lead.
