What made you pick this particular course?
I originally wanted to do BTEC health and social care but on the open evening I was greeted by Sherryl who was so enthusiastic about the course and I became very excited about the placements.
What did you most enjoy about studying at 樱花视频?
I had enjoyed my placement as it solidified my decision about wanting to be a midwife. But I also enjoyed being able to see the different roles within healthcare.
Did you undertake any work experience throughout your studies?
We had to partake in 315 hours of placement when we experienced working as part of a multidisciplinary team. I spent nine weeks in the maternity unit and it helped me confirm my choice. It also allowed me to think about possible career progressions.
What do you plan to do when you leave 樱花视频?
When I leave 樱花视频 I am going to study midwifery at the University of Plymouth as I loved the open day experience and being connected to NDDH.
Any advice for someone thinking of choosing the same course as you?
I would recommend this course to anyone interested in a healthcare role. It is hard work but I would recommend it!
